because i know you were definitely reading my Oscars blog from last night wondering “wow, i wish i could see what awesome musical medley number Hugh Jackman, Beyonce, Amanda Seyfried, and some other random yokels were belting out” and because i am kind and munificent, here is a gift to you this sad and boring Monday morning: a link to what i thought was the best part of the show last night, and why i didn’t miss the comedian hosts from previous years at all.
and this is too good to pass up. a new Apatow film trailer, Funny People, courtesy of the good folks at Cinematical. when are we swearing in Judd Apatow as the master of the universe? that day can’t come soon enough.

HEAR HEAR! Don’t miss ‘em at all. Jackman was a delight and a breath of fresh air. There wasn’t enough of him in the broadcast.
